BREAKING: Solomon Wombo, four Benue Assembly members set to dump PDP

Former Special Adviser to the ex-governor on Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Solomon Wombo is set to dump the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with his likely distination being the All Progressives Congress (APC) along with four House of Assembly members.

This is believed to be as a result of the cedeing of PDP structures to Governor Samuel Ortom which has alienated the chances of two of his close confidants, Prof Eugene Aliegba and Dr Terungwa Hwande who have since left the party.

Details of the House of Assembly members set to defect along with Mr Wombo are sketchy but sources conversant with the issue confirmed that at least four members from Sankera and Jechira axis are set to decamp from PDP to APC .

Hon. Wombo is expected to join the contest for the Katstina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency seat under the APC.
