The Benue State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have constituted a campaign council ahead of the 2019 general elections in the state.
In a statement released by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Mr James Ornguga, the gubernatorial candidate for the 2019 elections, Hon. Emmanuel Jime will serve as the Chairman; his running mate, Hon. Sam Ode as vice-chairman while Prof Eugene Aliegba is the Secretary General.
The party also named Sen. Jack Tilley Gyado as the Director General of the governorship campaign team with Barr. Jacob Ajene as his Deputy.
Directors appointed on the campaign team include Hon. Chris Dura Aondo (Operations), Col. Solomon Ngbede (Rtd) mni (Security), Hon. Stephen Tsav PhD (Strategy), Mr Joe Abuku (Communications), Hon. Christopher Ebute (Finance), Hon. Mark Hanmation (Contacts and Mobilization), Group Capt Stephen Adah Rtd. (Intelligence), Hon. Suleiman Abdul (Transport), Hon. Emmanuel Haaga (Special Duties), Mrs Caroline Ikpendu (Women Affairs), Mr Emmanuel Vambe (Youth Affairs), and Hon. Musa Ujor Suleiman (Targets/Review).
Others include Chief Solomon Sontor (Administration), Barr Joe Abaagu (Legal Services), Hon. Agbo Ogah (Protocol), Simon Abua Yajir (Rapid Response), Hon. John Tion (Research and Statistics), Chief Terlumun Akputu (Associations), Engr Adah Chenge (Welfare/Hospitality), Hon.
